2020 DR Local Recovery

Notice of CDBG-DR Grant Submission Period

The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA) Community and Economic Development Division (CED) will open the grant application period for the state’s Local Recovery Housing Competition Program (LRHCP) and Local Recovery and Resilience Competition Program (LRRCP) on May 1, 2025. This LRRCP is the second phase of the state’s CDBG-Disaster Recovery Grant Program for the seven eligible counties of Clarke, Dallas, Escambia, Marengo, Perry, Washington, and Wilcox that were impacted by Hurricanes Sally and Zeta in 2020.

If your jurisdiction plans to submit a grant application to ADECA for the Local Recovery Housing Competition Program (LRHCP) and/or Local Recovery and Resilience Competition Program (LRRCP), the grant application submission deadline is 12:00 noon on July 31, 2025.
