Overview
The Federal Initiatives and Recreation Division partners with Federal commissions, authorities, and departments to invest in projects that improve the economy and quality of life for Alabamians. Through a variety of regional and statewide grant programs, assistance is available for public infrastructure, business development/economic development, workforce development, entrepreneurship, transportation and transportation infrastructure, cultural heritage and tourism, building community leaders and capacity, healthcare, telecommunications, renewable and alternative energy, and public outdoor recreation.
