Alabama Space Authority

Overview

The Alabama Space Authority was created to promote research and development of new space exploration and spaceport technology; to sponsor conference and business roundtables within the aerospace, aviation and related industries; and to promote activities and industries related to exploration.

The Authority includes representatives of the University of Alabama in Huntsville, the Alabama Department of Commerce, the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs, the Alabama Department of Transportation, the Governor, the Legislature, and other individuals with knowledge and interest.
