Alabama Surplus Property Division receives, donates, and administers public auctions for State Surplus Property on behalf of our partnering agencies.
Donee State Property Information
The Promote site is an online storefront to advertise and transfer state surplus property to donees by allowing them to hold items they view online and generate invoices at pickup. User guides and additional training resources will be available in Promote. Donees that aren’t currently using Recoup will be able to setup a user login. Active Donees will be able to access Promote through the main Recoup system via a link.
Public Auctions
After property is held for a period of time to allow eligible organizations an opportunity to purchase it, it is sold to the public. See the Public Auctions page for more details.
