Residents, contractors, retail stores, and utilities should send their name and email to rebates@adeca.alabama.gov to receive notifications for any updates to the program. Updates may include public information sessions, rule establishment, application periods, and requests for information.

Eligible entities can’t receive two rebates for the same upgrade. For instance, if they claim a HOMES Rebate program for a heat pump, they cannot claim a rebate through the HEEHR.
No. Entities cannot receive rebates from both programs for the same upgrade. However, if the new home has a project for another area, it can qualify.
Until final guidance is issued, this cannot be determined. DOE plans to issue program guidelines in August 2023.
