ADECA Director Doni M. Ingram In keeping with Governor Riley’s mandate, ADECA is committed to carrying out its responsibilities under this Act with full transparency and accountability. This page includes an overview of each grant program, including monthly reports containing job creation and retention numbers, funding amounts, expenditures and other data specific to each program. The resources allocated to ADECA will enable our department to support and strengthen Alabama through a variety of programs. We are awarding grants for job training and assistance, alternative energy research and development, community development projects and specialized law enforcement task forces. ADECA programs will help many low-income families weather the current economic storm, avoid homelessness, improve housing and lower home energy costs.
