The FY2011 CDBG Compliance Workshop will be held at the Renaissance hotel in Montgomery, Alabama on Wednesday, November 9 2001.
A back-up hearing will be held for Alabama’s Consolidated Plan for Program Year 2011, to include action plans for the CDBG, ESG, and HOPWA programs. The hearing will be on January 14, at 10:30 a.m., in the 7th floor auditorium at the Alabama Center for Commerce, 401 Adams Avenue. Free parking will be available with access code 335*. The PY 2009 Funded Project List for the Planning Fund is: Union Springs ($36,000 Comprehensive Plan), Lowndesboro ($16,000 Land Use and Historic Preservation Plan), Prichard ($30,000 Redevelopment Plan), Somerville ($28,000 Comprehensive Plan), Cherokee ($10,000 Comprehensive Plan), Hamilton $32,000 Downtown Revitalization Plan), and Wilcox County ($40,000 Comprehensive Plan).
The State of Alabama will conduct public hearings to discuss the proposed substantial amendments to the PY2008 Consolidated Plan to incorporate the HPRRP and CDBG Stimulus programs.
