July 15, 2011 - Cordova Community Recovery Planning Group
A community planning meeting was held in the new Cordova High School to discuss long-term plans for the city. Read "Battered Cordova turns its attention to future in tornado recovery" from the Birmingham News.

July 7, 2011.

On July 7, six meeting were held in the Alabama Center for Commerce building - one for each task force. These were largely organizational in nature.

June 22, 2011.

June 22 marked the initial meeting for Long Term Community Recovery. The six task force areas were announced during this meeting at the state Capitol.
